Crofton Beam Engines
The oldest working beam engine in the world, still in its original home near Burbage. On steaming days you can watch it pump water to the Kennet & Avon Canal exactly as it has since 1812. Free to walk the site on non-steam days.
Crop Circle Visitor Centre
Honeystreet has been crop circle country since the late 1980s, and this centre tells the whole strange story. A proper multi-media exhibition with history, research and footage — and a base for exploring the Vale.
