Wylts is for the good of the local community. This policy sets out what is and isn't allowed. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.

What Wylts is for

Listing genuine local independent businesses, community groups, and events in the Pewsey Vale, Marlborough and surrounding Wiltshire villages. National chains are not listed as businesses; they may appear only where they are running or sponsoring a genuine community event.

You must not

• Post anything unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, obscene or threatening.
• Impersonate a person or business, or claim a listing you have no right to.
• Post false, misleading or spam content, or list a business that does not genuinely operate locally.
• Infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
• Upload malware, attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the platform, or interfere with other users.
• Scrape, harvest or bulk-extract data from Wylts, or use it to build a competing dataset.
• Use Wylts for unsolicited marketing or any unlawful commercial purpose.

Reporting

If you see content that breaks these rules, please tell us at hello@wylts.co.uk. Submitted content may be checked automatically and by a human before or after it appears.

Enforcement

We may remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that breach this policy — at our discretion and without notice where necessary to protect the community or the platform.
